The Dons crashed 3-1 at Crewe last week after leading at half-time and Graham Alexander's side could find County too strong as they look to bounce back from that second defeat of the season. GILLINGHAM have suffered 2 league defeats since winning their first 4 games but Neil Harris' players can surely get back on track at home to bottom 6 club Harrogate. The Gills shone in Carabao Cup ties against Southampton (3-1) and Luton (2-3) but Harris turned on the hairdryer after last week's defeat at Grimsby and 4/5 could be value after several players made claims for places in a midweek EFL Trophy win. There are only two matches in League One this weekend and I strongly fancy home wins in both after EXETER and STEVENAGE play host to Leyton Orient and Carlisle.

Orient made 8 changes for their 2-1 EFL Cup defeat at Gillingham midweek but the full side lost 3-0 at home to Stevenage last Saturday and Gary Caldwell's Grecians look a fair price at 8/11. Manchester United loanee Charlie McNeill made a scoring debut in that superb win for Steve Evans' side at Leyton Orient and The Boro can follow up tomorrow at 4/5.

” In the North East Wales FA Cup, North East Wales League Championship high-flyers FC Plas Madoc will be looking to cause a shock as they host Premier Division Connah’s Quay Town. The other tie is an all-Premier Division affair as Penyffordd Lions pay a visit to Castell Alun Colts. Ardal North West Hawarden Rangers will host North East Wales League Lex XI in a tasty clash in the second round of the Welsh Trophy on the weekend of September 29-30.

Other North East ties: Coedpoeth United v Llansannan; Ruabon Rovers v Aston Park Rangers; Rhostyllen v St Asaph City; Brymbo v Kinmel Bay; Corwen v Llansantffraid Village; Overton Recreation v Llangollen Town; Meliden v FC Queen’s Park; Bro Cernyw v Gronant; Caer Clwyd v FC Plas Madoc; Connah’s Quay Town v Rhydymwyn; Y Glannau v Bow; Llandyrnog United v NFA; Holywell United v Rhyl Allstars; Yr Wyddgrug v Llannefydd.

Ironically though, much of Wimbledon's solid start has been down to the new centre-back pairing of Joe Lewis and Ryan Johnson who've arrived FROM Stockport and a 9-4 league goal difference compares well to the visitors' 8-10. Wimbledon are 9/5 to win a home game against side which has conceded 6 times in their last 2 matches and that looks outstanding value on a quiet day domestically. Last year's National League play-off winners NOTTS COUNTY start the day top of League Two and I fancy them to finish in the same position by winning at 13/10 away to second-top MK Dons. The Magpies lost their first match 5-1 at Sutton Utd but they've remained unbeaten in their next 5 and their most recent 3 straight wins have propelled them to the top of the table.

Johnnie Jackson's side play 3 of their next 4 League Two matches at the Cherry Red Records Stadium and Stockport's arrival can see them add a win to their home draws against Wrexham and Forest Green. 2Dundee United are back in action again this weekend despite the international breakCredit: SNS 2The Tannadice club face a grudge match against James McPake's DunfermlineCredit: SNS A desperate end to last season saw The Wombles priced up at 14/1 for a top-three finish this time but the current campaign has included a Carabao Cup win over Coventry and a narrow next round defeat by 2-1 at Chelsea. Tomorrow's visitors have managed one win in 6 and lost 2 from 2 on the road but last year's beaten play-off finalists still carry a big reputation and are priced up as slight favourites to win at 8/5.

Saints' boss Harrison has had some great times in Scottish competitionLAST season’s leading duo in the Cymru Premier League - The New Saints and Bala Town - are both in action in the Scottish Challenge Cup this weekend. Tonight, Craig Harrison’s Saints travel to Hibernian B, while Bala host Queen’s Park on Sunday afternoon. Harrison has a good history with the competition and he told the club’s YouTube channel: “We went up and had a great result against Livingston and unfortunately got beat at St Mirren in the semi-finals. “When I was with Connah’s Quay, played against Queen’s Park at Hampden Park and also got to the final of that against Ross County, where Dec McManus was involved.
